VideoClip ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information in our web application and browser extension.
We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.
Our browser extension only reads the URL of the current tab when you explicitly click the extension icon. This URL is passed as a query parameter to our web application to facilitate the download process. We do not track your browsing history or collect any information from the pages you visit.
VideoClip does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. Any data processed by the application is handled in real-time to fulfill your request and is not stored permanently.
When you use VideoClip, requests are sent to the respective media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) to retrieve public media information. These platforms may collect data according to their own privacy policies. Please note that downloading content from YouTube is not supported to comply with Chrome Web Store policies.
The VideoClip browser extension is designed with a single purpose: to provide a shortcut for users to send a link to our web app. It only activates upon user interaction.
